Tibet Kitchen
Try the laphing, a cold spicy mung-bean-starch dish.
Tibet Kitchen is a small Tibetan restaurant on KB Jacob Road in Fort Kochi. It serves from noon until 10.30pm.
Visitors mention the steamed momos, served with a spicy dip. The vegetarian momos are made fresh in the kitchen, and the order arrives later. Visitors also order the laphing, though one found the dry version low in spice, and the soupy laphing was not always on offer. Thukpa, the noodle soup, filled one visitor more than they expected.
Service can be slow when the room is busy. One visitor waited about an hour for food and saw later tables served first. Another described the place as small and simple, with the day’s items on a board instead of a printed menu. A group of friends paid a little over ₹500 for their meal.
There is no dedicated parking, because the restaurant is on the roadside, so you may need to park a short walk away.
