A paved courtyard with a winding stone path leads toward a white building with arched doorways and windows, partially covered in climbing vines. Trees with dense green foliage frame the scene, casting dappled shade over the walkway and surrounding grassy areas. To the left, a tiled patio holds a white metal chair, while a low rope barrier runs along the edge of the path. French Toast is a café on Saint Francis Church Road in Fort Kochi. It opens 9am to 6pm every day except Tuesday, when it shuts.

Two visitors ordered the strawberry French toast. One also ordered the savoury mushroom French toast, and bought a bottle of the sweet chilli jam to take home.

Expect a menu of café food rather than French food. One visitor said the only French touch was the background music. The waiting area has mosquitoes, so bring repellent if you wait for a table.
