Francis
Cold beer and pork sausages in the historic quarter.
Francis is a small pub on Queiros Street in Fort Kochi, open from 11am until midnight. It serves beer and wine, and visitors order the pork sausages, the calamari and the chicken and beef sliders.
The room seats only a few tables. Expect it to fill after 7pm, especially at weekends. One visitor advised phoning ahead for a table at weekends. One visitor heard live music while eating.
Not every visit goes smoothly. One visitor waited a long time for a table, found the seating cramped, and thought the food underwhelming for the price. Another found the pork sausages much like chicken sausage. One regular came every evening of their stay.
