Who Is Behind It

The poster names Akhilraj as Martin, and credits MU Praveen and Sajeev Raman Nambiyath. It does not say who wrote or directed the piece.

ActLab — the Actor’s Training Laboratory — is an acting school founded in Thrissur in 2006 that moved to Ernakulam in 2013. ActLab Studios is its production side, set up, in its own words, to exhibit and promote the talent of theatre and film artists through classical, contemporary and realistic productions.

Sajeev Nambiyath directs ActLab. He has trained actors for about thirty years, has been visiting faculty at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune since 2006, and in 2016 headed the acting department at the Asha Sharath Cultural Centre in Dubai. His solo performance Paaduka Paattukara has been staged more than a hundred times in India and abroad.
