Vypin Water Metro Station
Twenty minutes to High Court. For Fort Kochi, it’s the old ferry, not this one.
The Water Metro station on Vypin Island stands near the Fort Kochi - Vypin Ro-Ro jetty. It is the Vypin end of the Water Metro line to High Court on the mainland.
The station opened to the public on 26 April 2023, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it on 25 April. Fares across the Water Metro run from 20 rupees to 40 rupees. The Kochi Metro One card, or a QR code booked through the Kochi One app, pays for both the boats and the metro train.
