Thudippu Art and Cultural Centre

Book a two-hour session mixing folk arts, dance and an art workshop.

A two-story building with a light-colored facade and a metal roof stands behind a paved driveway, partially hidden by lush green trees and foliage under a clear blue sky. A white car is parked in the driveway leading to an open carport area. On the right, a stone pillar supports a vertical sign mounted on a metal fence, with another section of fencing visible on the left side of the path. Potted plants line the edge of the driveway near the left fence.

Thudippu is a dance and arts foundation with a space inside Aikyam Space. The same team runs regular classes at its studio in Vennala, Ernakulam, and some are online.

Classes cover Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathak, semi-classical dance, hip-hop, carnatic music, and drawing and painting. At Vennala, kids’ Bharatanatyam meets on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning, and adults have a weekend batch and a Monday and Thursday batch from 6 to 7 pm. Mohiniyattam meets at 9:30 on weekend mornings and at 5:30 pm on Fridays, and Kathak on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Individual sessions run at flexible times.

The foundation sets its fees with the needs of underprivileged students in mind, and says its aim is to open art education to everyone. It also hosts performances and workshops. In September 2026 it ran a Chavittunadakam workshop for children, adults and women of different ages.
