O Porto is the bar inside Mai House Heritage Hotel in Fort Kochi, open every day from 10am to 11.30pm.

The hotel is a Christian tharavadu, an ancestral home more than a hundred years old, by its own account. One visitor from Goa ordered kallappam, ginger lime soda, dragon beef, ginger pork and beef dry fry, and called the price reasonable.

Service comes up in complaints. One visitor waited nearly an hour for a lime juice. Another found the room warm, around 29 to 30 degrees, with no proper air conditioning. One visitor found only one of the wines on the list was in stock.
