Twenty-five minutes to Kakkanad from the jetty beside Vyttila Mobility Hub.
The Water Metro jetty at Vyttila sits beside the Vyttila Mobility Hub, next to the Vyttila metro station. Boats from here run to Kakkanad.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the station on 25 April 2023. The Vyttila to Kakkanad service began on 27 April 2023.
The Kakkanad station is on Chittethukara, about 2 km from Kakkanad town. Water Metro fares run from 20 rupees to 40 rupees, and a QR code booked through the Kochi One app works for tickets.
