Mia: The Princess of Fort Kochi

The sunlight glints off my glorious ginger fur as I make my entrance. Always with grace, sometimes with a little sass. I am Mia, your resident correspondent for all things beautiful, cozy, and joy-sparking in Kochi. My journey to this throne wasn’t all velvet cushions and endless pets. Once upon a time, I was abandoned by my humans, left with a heart full of anxiety and a world that felt a little too loud. I found myself at Cats of Kochi, sharing space (and side-eye) with five other cats, but my soul longed for a kingdom of my own.

That’s when fate—and a friend of the human behind CatsofKochi—stepped in, whisking me away to a quieter palace. Suddenly, I was the only cat in a house ruled by a single mom and her two teen daughters. Let’s just say, they quickly learned who runs the show (hint: it’s me). With their love and patience, my true self emerged: curious, elegant, and never shy about demanding attention. On my terms, of course.

I am the queen here, adored and obeyed. I decide when my humans wake (no oversleeping on my watch, ma’am), and I set the rules for petting (too much, and you’ll get a gentle swat or maybe, a love bite). But beneath my regal exterior, my heart is secretly bursting with affection for my family and for every cozy corner, sunbeam, and story Kochi has to offer.

As your guide to the city’s most aesthetic nooks and happy-making haunts, I promise to bring you tales of adventure, beauty, and the occasional dramatic escape. After all, life is too short not to chase a little sunlight, or a good story, every day.

Stay fabulous!
